This soba (noodles made from buckwheat) specialty shop is decorated in the style of an old home from Shinshu (Nagano Prefecture), which is famous for soba. Sojibo also serves chilled soba onto which you can grate your own fresh wasabi.

First, various ingredients and flour are mixed with chopped cabbage, and the resulting mixture is grilled on a hotplate. Finally, this dish is topped with sauce, mayonnaise, chopped seaweed, and bonito fish flakes. The result is okonomiyaki, one of Osaka’s most famous comfort foods. The shop’s yakisoba, which starts at 853 yen, is also delicious.

UMEDA FOOD HALL is a new food court located in HANKYU SANBAN GAI, a shopping mall that’s connected to Hankyu Umeda Station. Its restaurants are divided into five category-based areas, each of which offers a different mood and style of food: bars, chic cuisine, snacks, meals for stamina, and sweets. There are a total of 18 establishments, 11 of which have opened their first branch in the Kansai region.
