A new location has opened in Umeda in 2023! HEP FIVE, marked by its signature red Ferris wheel, has completely renovated the food area on the 7th floor and opened a new food-centered floor, TAMLO. In addition, GRAND FRONT OSAKA, which celebrated its 10th anniversary, saw the opening of 23 new stores and an increase in floor space, as well as a complete upgrade of its food, beverage and entertainment offerings. HEP FIVE: Grand opening of the new food floor TAMLO!

This September, HEP FIVE opened a new food floor, TAMLO! In addition to offering the latest popular food items, TAMLO also serves as a common space where customers can freely relax with their takeout. When you go up to the seventh floor, the creative design of the space blends a vibrant color scheme with gray tones. Welcome to the unique gastronomic world of TAMLO!

TAMLO features a total of 14 popular restaurants of different styles, including one opening in Umeda for the first time, as well as new types of shops and the pop-up store TAMLAB. In addition to enjoying the food in the restaurant, you can also share the delicious dishes with family and friends in the five public spaces available here*. Whether you are tired of shopping and want to take a break or just want to eat all the trendy Japanese gourmet foods at once, TAMLO is the perfect place for you!

Catch up with the latest trends in Japan with limited-time stores

There are two pop-up stores in TAMLO. One is TAMLAB, a pop-up store located just to the left of the entrance that offers the hottest gourmet and seasonal products. The themed café BOX cafe&space at the far end of the building regularly offers character-themed set menus and related goods in collaboration with popular Japanese anime and video games, which attract many fans.

When you want to fill up on food

Do you have a problem finding a good place for lunch or dinner? At TAMLO you can enjoy a wide variety of cuisines. For an authentic Japanese set meal, we recommend UMEYOSHI, which offers a pork cutlet that’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. For a taste of Japanese and Western cuisine, try Hamburger Kitchen Marburg for juicy and delicious hamburgers, Odashimon for Japanese-style pasta made with rich dashi broth, and Pom-no-ki for omelet rice with a wide variety of flavors. Alternatively, you can try a unique waffle with a cute shape and fluffy texture at PINK WOO WAFFLE. If you want to have just a little something to eat, YANKEE DONUTS, a sticky doughnut shop that uses ingredients from Hokkaido; coucou churros, a popular specialty store from Osaka for dipping churros; and KOREAN KITCHEN K-LOVERS, Korean sweets that are great for girls, are all available in the afternoon. It’s the perfect place to take an afternoon break!

When you want a drink...

GRAND FRONT OSAKA celebrated its 10th anniversary this year with the opening of 23 new and renovated stores. The flagship stores of the three major brands - MUJI, KEYUCA, and ESTNATION - as well as 20 popular restaurants, fashion and general merchandise stores will also open their doors in the mall. Every aspect of dining and entertainment has been upgraded here in Umeda, Osaka!

MUJI / Café & Meal MUJI

GRAND FRONT OSAKA’s MUJI store reopened this fall. The floor space has been increased from one floor to three floors (2F-4F), making it one of the largest stores in the Kansai region. In addition to daily necessities like clothing and food- and housing-related products, the store also offers new residential design, community interaction, and co-working spaces.

The existing Café&Meal MUJI has been converted from a deli to a full restaurant with a vegetable menu, using selected seasonal local ingredients to provide healthy, safe and delicious food. If you want to take a breather, how about a freshly brewed cup of coffee at the newly opened MUJI Coffee on the 3rd floor? Choose your favorite flavor from 11 carefully selected types of coffee beans. You can even purchase beans here directly if you find a type you like. MUJI has also created a kids' space on the fourth floor so children can enjoy themselves here, too. The newly renovated MUJI is a place where adults and children alike can have a good time, a place where you’ll find their “Life Park for Everyone” concept at every turn.

KEYUCA

KEYUCA is a Japanese lifestyle store with a "simple & natural" theme, offering everything from tableware and clothing to curtains and furniture. It offers easy-to-use, well-designed, and reasonably priced household items.

This April, the store reopened as one of the largest flagship stores in the Kansai region on the basement floor of the GRAND FRONT OSAKA South Building. In order to continue to deliver the highest quality everyday products, and to place more emphasis on dialogue and connection with our customers, the store has also installed a new KEYUCA post box.

ESTNATION

ESTNATION is an apparel brand established in 2001 in Yurakucho, Tokyo. The store concept is to allow more people to enjoy the pleasure of shopping while choosing clothes they truly like, both for work and everyday life. ESTNATION sells original items as well as items from other high-quality clothing and accessories brands carefully selected from Japan and abroad. From timeless classics to innovative trends, you'll find clothing and accessories for every occasion here.

With this renewal, the area has expanded 1.25 times, making it the largest physical store in the Kansai region. In addition to increasing the number of brands on offer, KEYUCA has also created a section for men's dresses and their original brand "Column." Based on the concept of a museum, the store has high ceilings and spacious flowing lines, an open and elegant space that makes you feel as if you were viewing an exhibition, where you can calmly and carefully select the clothing art that’s right for you.
